How does the LooBuddy work?

Brilliantly simple - watch it in our videos below!

1. Prepare LooBuddy

  1. Place a standard residual waste bag into the LooBuddy cassette.
  2. Add superabsorbent granules using the enclosed scoop.
  3. Attach the garbage bag to the four designated container clamps.
  4. Place the lid with the locking system on and guide the bag through the opening.
  5. Close the closure and press the bag into the 4 closure clips provided.
  6. Put on the sealing flange and slide the LooBuddy (instead of the original cassette) into the existing service shaft.
  7. Connect the sensor cable to the sensor box.

Your self-contained toilet is ready!

2. The LooBuddy in action

  1. Open the lid when using the toilet.
  2. Do your business.
  3. If necessary, flush the toilet.
  4. The superabsorbent granules transform the “liquid” into an odorless gel.
  5. If your fill level indicator shows that the bag is full after about 10-15 trips to the toilet, you should change it after 1-2 more trips to the toilet at the latest.

3. Disposal

  1. Disconnect the sensor cable from the sensor box.
  2. Pull out the LooBuddy and remove the sealing flange.
  3. Close the garbage bag.
  4. Pull the bag up to release the four locking clips.
  5. Lift the lid using the lid handle.
  6. Dispose of the garbage bag, such as baby diapers or dog waste bags, in the general waste.
